Aditya is a strategy and innovation professional with 12 years of experience in accelerating strategic initiatives and technology innovation programmes for transport and energy sectors. His recent experience at PA Consulting Ltd, saw him working as a Strategy Consultant and advising various senior stakeholders, from private and public sector clients, on technology and innovation strategy related projects. Previously, Aditya has worked as an Innovation Technologist at Connected Places Catapult, where he worked on accelerating early-stage ideas for transport related technologies. Aditya is the battery lead for technology trends work at the APC.

Alex is a Senior Policy Advisor at Department for Energy Security and Net Zero (DESNZ) and leads on V2X bidirectional charging policy. He's focused on ensuring the government is doing everything it can to support the roll-out of this transformative technology.

Chris joined the RHA in September 2019 to lead its environment policy work. He is actively engaged in shaping the Net Zero agenda to deliver sustainable outcomes for commercial vehicle operators and, in particular, small businesses. Previously, he was a Civil Servant for 18 years – predominantly at the Home Office developing policies to reduce offending by heroin and cocaine addicts and to address domestic abuse. Together with a family background in haulage, he brings extensive experience and insight into how central and local government decision-making, policy-making and Parliament works at the highest levels.

Daan Nap is responsible for Business Development and Sales of Autonomous Connection Devices (ACDs) at Rocsys, for the segments Ports & Transportation. He is dedicated to implementing and scaling innovative technology solutions that contribute to a sustainable future. Daan brings more than 17 years of experience in the global eMobility market. At Epyon he helped realise the very first commercial DC fast chargers for passenger cars in Europe as of 2010. In 2011, Epyon was acquired by ABB, a global leader in robotics, machine automation and digital services. At ABB Daan served as the Global Head of bus charging, delivering the first pantograph systems and depot charging solutions for bus charging, covering more than 50 countries. He worked on the early solutions for Energy Management and delivered the world’s very first MegaWatt Charging Systems (MCS) to commercial customers already in 2022. Before Epyon, Daan had various roles at companies including Siemens, Royal Philips and IBM. He holds a BSc in engineering from the University of Applied Sciences in The Hague.

David Wong is Head of Technology and Innovation at SMMT, the UK’s automotive industry body that represents the interests of more than 800 members including all major vehicle manufacturers, component suppliers, aftermarket businesses, technology and engineering firms, mobility start-ups and self-driving vehicle technology developers. David is SMMT’s lead on connected and automated vehicles, electric and fuel cell vehicles, autotech and future mobility innovation. He also sits on the UK Automotive Council Future Technology Group and is a board member of greentech consultancy Cenex and advisory board member of PAVE UK. He was a member of the UK Government’s Future Communications Challenge Group, which advised on 5G strategy, and the multi-sectoral EV Energy Taskforce.

Fred is responsible for developing the Company’s plans to build, own and operate a renewable hydrogen facility in Immingham, UK. He has worked for Air Products for over 25 years. He started his career in engineering design, operations support, project and construction management and has since progressed through business development and commercial roles in France, Switzerland and the UK. Fred, is a chartered engineer and a member of the Institute for Chemical Engineers.

Jacob has worked in the sustainable transport industry for over ten years, with a focus on enabling the transition to zero-emission vehicles. Beginning in local government, Jacob gained hands-on experience of local EV charging infrastructure delivery, before working for Energy Saving Trust, where he supported public and private sector organisations to reduce harmful emissions from transport. At REA, Jacob co-ordinated an industry group representing and advocating on behalf of the UK EV charging companies. At Cenex, Jacob now leads a team of specialists that deliver policy, strategy and implementation support to public and private sector organisations who are looking to offer electric vehicle charging infrastructure.

Worked for Intelligent Energy on the design and development of hydrogen fuel cells for automotive, stationary and aerospace applications for the past 24 years.

Jonathan has been delivering propulsion and power projects since 1998. From a technical engineering role within a leading international consultancy, he has experience of working with a diverse global customer base. Jonathan joined Hypermotive in 2022 and as Chief Strategy Officer is focused on driving sustainable transport and power technology transformation.

Josey Wardle is the Innovation Lead for ZEV infrastructure at Innovate UK. She specialises in the infrastructure required to enable zero emission transport, using experience gathered over 15 years working in the EV charging industry and PhD investigating the future of EV charging. Josey manages the EV charging and V2G/V2X innovation programmes and also supports maritime and heavy freight projects funded by UK Government. Innovate UK is part of UK Research and Innovation, a non-departmental public body, driving productivity and growth by supporting businesses to realise the potential of new technologies, develop ideas and make them a commercial success. Innovate UK provides connections and funds businesses and research collaborations in all economic sectors, value chains and UK regions to accelerate innovation.

Juliet is the Programme Director leading GFI’s Transport Team, looking after the GFI’s work on electric vehicles, charging infrastructure, HGVs and the UK battery supply chain. She leads on bringing a series of financial products including Utilisation Linked Finance and Residual Value Guarantees to market. She joined the institute from the Power, Utilities and Infrastructure Investment Banking team at Jefferies, where she worked on several deals within the green energy and energy transition sector, and was involved in the successful completion of several infrastructure transactions.
