    After graduating Aerospace Engineering from the University of Liverpool, Teodora joined Zenzic in 2022 as a research intern. Quickly impressing in her work, Teodora soon progressed into her current role at the core of Zenzic's insights team. To date Teodora has co-authored several key strategic research publications, including The International CAM Landscape, Connecting the UK CAM Supply Chain and Scaling Up by 2035, Opportunities for the UK CAM sector.

    Looking forwards, in her role as a Research Analyst, she will take a leading role in Zenzic's work to update the collective understanding of the challenges, strengths and opportunities in the UK's CAM supply chain to support an exciting next phase of development for the sector.

    Tim is a Senior Research Manager at JLR with more than 20 years’ experience in automotive research, and a specialism in automated vehicles and safety-related systems. Tim remains committed to have a positive impact on road safety and efficiency through the deployment of new technologies that are functional, safe and robust. Prior to joining JLR in 2022, Tim had long tenure at HORIBA MIRA as Chief Engineer for Connected and Automated Vehicles, and has been an active participant in key industry working groups and standardisation activities with Automotive Council UK, AESIN, BSI and ISO.

    Tom Barker is a Project Manager at Cybermoor Services Ltd, where he leads Government and Innovate UK-funded initiatives focused on deploying technology in rural areas. He manages a varied portfolio, including the Rural Energy Resilience project, which aims to develop and implement V2X infrastructure in rural communities.

    Tom has a proven track record of successfully delivering complex technology projects across the UK. His expertise lies in introducing and managing disruptive technologies in rural settings, working to overcome the unique challenges of bringing innovation to underserved areas. Through its work, Cybermoor Services Ltd helps bridge the digital divide by delivering advanced technology infrastructure, ensuring rural communities can access the same opportunities as their urban counterparts.

    Tommaso Difonzo

    Tommaso, a native of Puglia, Italy, is a dynamic energy and electric vehicle manager. His journey in e-mobility began 14y ago with his 2011 thesis at the Polytechnic of Milan. After his studies, he joined Enel Group, where he held various roles in e-mobility, including functional analyst, tester of charging station and software solutions, project manager, and business developer. His experience at Enel's EU Affairs office, in charge of Enel’s relationship with the European Parliament deepened his knowledge of electricity markets and EU clean energy legislation.

    During this period he also attended a summer school at the Florence School of Regulation, the centre of excellence European regulation and policy on the energy sector. In September 2019, Tommaso joined ENGIE Laborelec, initially as Business and Product Manager for SMATCH Smart Charging for EVs, and since June 2022, he has been the Research Programme Manager on e-Mobility for the ENGIE Group, responsible for the Group’’s Research&Innovation activities on e-mobility

    Dr. Truong Dinh

    Dr Truong Dinh is an Associate Professor of Energy Management and Control Systems within Energy Applications Group in WMG, the University of Warwick.

    He is an HEA Fellow, an IEEE senior member. He has led/involved in CR&D projects and published over 200 scientific papers (including 90+ high quality journal papers, 04 patents, 03 books and book chapters) in areas of mechatronics, automation and control, energy management and optimisation, and applications to intelligent energy and transportation systems.

    He has delivered more than 25 keynote and invited talks at renowned conferences and industrial events. He has received 14 journal and conference paper awards. He is technical committee member of IEEE-IES – Motion and Control Section; chapter vice-chair of IEEE-CIS Region 8; editorial members of several international journals and IEEE Trans.

    He is the general co-chair and publication co-chair of the IEEE IES International Conference on Mechatronic Technology (ICMT) 2019 to 2025 across countries and chair of ICMT2026 at Warwick.

    Mr. Yahya Ahmed

    Yahya Alvar has over 25 years of experience within the automotive industry in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, product development life cycle, project and program management, electrification, and battery design and development projects. He joined UKBIC’s commercial team in 2022 as Business Development Manager, before becoming Head of Business Development in July 2024, where he supports UK and international customers to develop, optimise and scale-up their battery electrodes, cells, modules, and packs.

    Prior to UKBIC, Yahya worked at Ricardo UK where he delivered consultancy services for battery module and pack design and development projects, and for Ford, at its Technical Centre, where he managed engineering consultancy projects and the delivery team for Altran UK. He holds a dual MSc degree in International project management and BSc in Mechanical and Industrial Engineering.
