This state-of-the-art, ruggedised datalogger is poised to revolutionise CAN-FD (Controller Area Network Flexible Data) applications across industrial and heavy-duty sectors.

The launch of the Megalog series is the result of ODOS' strategic collaborations with field specialists, including esteemed technical associate Kvaser AB. By integrating seamlessly with Kvaser’s advanced hardware and software, the Megalog is set to create a new standard for data logging.

The Megalog features Kvaser’s advanced CAN-FD interface and the latest CAN bus monitoring and diagnostics software CanKing-7, a PC-based application running on Linux and Windows OS. This combination provides a comprehensive and reliable solution for advanced research and development debugging.

Designed for Big-Data Analytics, Megalog boasts intuitive usability, effortless installation and durability to withstand extreme environmental conditions (IP67 rated) and is equipped for the future with edge processing capabilities.

Bulit to excel in the harshest environments, from scorching deserts to mines 2 km underground, the Megalog is equipped with a pressure equalisation valve. This “breather” valve prevents excessive pressure or vacuum build-up inside its sealed enclosure, safeguarding the internal electronics from overpressure or drawing in water and dust ingress.  

To operate reliably in electrically demanding environments like battery charging, power generators, and engine cold start testing, the Megalog features high-voltage isolation inputs and a built-in UPS for power management. This ensures continuous data capture even during power outages, electrical spikes, and interference from electrical noise.

With robust connectivity options, local SSD storage and remote cloud data storage, the Megalog is set to be the preferred choice for safety-critical and mission-critical applications.
