Cenex Expo 2024 to Feature Dedicated Hydrogen Technology Showcase
In recognition of the growing importance of hydrogen vehicles, this year's Cenex Expo will introduce a dedicated Hydrogen Technology Showcase for the first time in the event's 16-year history.
Unifying and building on the successful legacy of the Cenex-LCV (Low Carbon Vehicle) and Cenex-CAM (Connected Automated Mobility) events, Cenex Expo will focus its reach and insight toward the supply chain, technology, and market development priorities of the next phase of future mobility, including alternative fuel pathways to Net Zero – in which hydrogen plays an increasing role.
Developed in collaboration with the Hydrogen Innovation Initiative, the Hydrogen Technology Showcase will include a dedicated seminar space, exhibitor stands, and an outdoor area for a variety of hydrogen vehicles and refuellers.
Across the two-day Cenex Expo event (4-5 September) key highlights of the Hydrogen Technology Showcase will include:
A two-day seminar program covering key policy, technology, and market topics – in panel, tech talk, and “Meet the Expert” format
A Hydrogen Technology Showcase area for Show and Tell with the latest hydrogen vehicles, technologies, and refuelling solutions
Signposting to hydrogen technology exhibitors across the Cenex Expo exhibition
“Since its inception as a single annual gathering for the UK low carbon vehicle community nearly two decades ago, the Cenex Expo event continues to move with the times, addressing the next set of challenges and creating a platform for innovation across the entire future mobility ecosystem, including the development of technologies that support a hydrogen economy,” comments Robert Evans, Cenex CEO.
“We are delighted to be collaborating with the Hydrogen Innovation Initiative to bring this dedicated space to Cenex Expo.”
“Having a hydrogen technology showcase at this years’ Cenex Expo underlines the key role that hydrogen will play in the road to Net Zero for the UK. It also highlights that the UK can play a crucial part in the global hydrogen technology market,” said Gareth Williams, Director at the Hydrogen Innovation Initiative.
This will be a fantastic opportunity to showcase some of the incredible work happening in the transport sector. It’s a pleasure to be working with Robert and his team at Cenex to bring this to life.”
Cenex Expo will take place on 4-5 September at UTAC, Bedfordshire. For more information and to register, visit https://cenexexpo2024.eventreference.com/landingpage
