For the first time ever, In2tec, a key partner of automotive brands making the transition to a low-carbon future, will display its unique flexi-hibrid™ circuit boards on Stand C3-622c at the green transport technology convention, which takes place on 3-4 September at UTAC, Bedfordshire.

Flexi-hibrid™ is In2tec’s alternative to the conventional resin PCBA (printed circuit board assembly) and provides a significant material cost saving versus conventional FR4 copper board or flexible Kapton technology.

The polyester substrate is also recyclable, making it ideal for an industry facing up to its sustainability obligations. In2tec has also developed specialised sustainable moulded electronics packing solution to go along with their flexi and flexi-hibrid™ PCBAs, called OMSE™ (On-Mould Sustainable Electronics). OMSE™ utilises all the benefits of conventional In-Mould Electronics while delivering the ultimate ability to completely disassemble the unit into its constituent parts at its end-of-life – a first in the electronics industry.
